Qaanita Rossier

Qaanita Rossier is a Registered Counsellor who holds additional Honours Degrees in Psychology and Organisational Psychology. She also completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education. She worked as a Human Resource Manager for 18 years where one of her tasks was ensuring employees were job fit.

Qaanita believes that the modern world of work places great emphasis on career satisfaction. Psychometric assessments are brilliant tools in that they allow individuals to gain the self-knowledge that leads to informed decision-making. Psychometric assessments assist individuals to:

  • select school subjects that are linked to appropriate study paths

  • gain insight into their values and interpersonal qualities; and connect them to the appropriate study path

  • assess whether their current career is suitable

  • determine the readiness of Grade R learners to begin structured schooling and identify and assist to close any learning gaps

Qaanita runs a private practice called Qamari Counselling where she offers individual counselling sessions with a special focus on women's issues as well as maternal and adolescent mental health.

Tara du Plessis is a Registered Counsellor with a passion for helping individuals gain clarity and direction in their education and careers. She holds a BPsych Honours degree and is also a certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapy practitioner, graduating with distinction from the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Institute of South Africa (EAPISA).

Tara has a special interest in psychometric assessments, as they provide valuable information that touches on a wide range of areas in personal functioning. This can make finding the way forward with regards to schooling and career choices much clearer. She works with students selecting subjects, young adults exploring career options, and professionals seeking career development or change. Through structured assessments and expert guidance, she helps clients make informed decisions with confidence.

In addition to psychometric assessments, Tara runs a private practice, Equine Insight Counselling, where she offers equine-assisted counselling, nature-based counselling, and group workshops, creating a holistic approach to personal and professional growth. Her goal is to provide clients with the tools and support they need to navigate their educational and career journeys successfully.
