Subject Choice
Subject Choice assessments are aimed at Grade 9 learners, who are tasked with choosing subjects to continue FET phase (Grade 10 to 12) at High School.
A Subject Choice Assessment uses a battery of psychometric assessments to determine the learner's abilities, interests and personality. The results of this assessment can help guide the choice of subjects that is most appropriate based on the learner's abilities, post-school interests and desired career path.
Subject Choice Assessments use the following standardised tests:
Self-Directed Search (SDS)
South African Vocational Interest Inventory (SAVII)
Career Development Questionnaire (CDQ)
Jung Personality Interest Questionnaire (JPI-Q)
The assessment includes:
Learner Intake Interview (0.5hrs - conducted on the day of testing)
Psychometric Testing (1.5hrs)
Comprehensive Report
Feedback Session (conducted online - 1hr, scheduled 1-2 weeks post testing)
Rates
R2500.00 - this is inclusive of all of the above outlined in the assessment process
